What are the differences between Neon Led and classic Neon?
Neon Mood uses Neon Flex Led to create unique works. Find out why we chose this technology!
1. Material
Traditional neon is made of glass and gas. To shape the gas tubes, they are heated and then filled with inert gas. Neon Led is a cutting-edge technology that uses a more complex process to generate light from electricity. The tube consists of a hyper-flexible silicone material that, in addition to being safer than traditional neon, also allows for the creation of more complex and creative designs.
Differences between Classic Neon and Led Neon
2. Energy consumption
Neon Led technology is brighter, more homogeneous and more resistant than classic neon. Despite this, the difference in energy consumption is significant: whether you have an apartment, a business or need to set up an event, the energy savings of Neon Led reach up to 70% compared to classic neon, reducing consumption costs and respecting environmental values.
3. Prices
Producing a piece with Neon Led requires less raw material and labor than classic neon, reducing production costs. The packages we ship contain the minimum necessary to guarantee the safety of the piece and the supporting and electronic components. All these factors reduce production costs compared to classic neon allowing a lower and more affordable price of the final product.
4. Security
Unlike classic gas neon that uses high voltage current and glass structures, Neon Led technology does not heat up, can be touched and is not harmful in case of breakage does not contain toxic gases inside. It is therefore safer for your shop, your apartment or to be exposed to an event.
5. Duration
Our products are designed to have an average lifespan of 10 years for 24/7 use. The estimated lifespan for 5 hours of daily use is on average 30 years for a total of 50,000 hours. Furthermore, maintenance costs are low, allowing the light strips to be replaced quickly and in an absolutely economical way.
